Meet The Team
Brian Keller
CEO, President
As CEO and President of The Ascent Building Group, Brian Keller ensures that our companies are collaborating to deliver the most value for customers. With over 40 years of construction experience, he also oversees Ascent’s leadership training program for our team members. Outside of the office, you can find Brian on the golf course, hiking, relaxing in nature or playing with his three grandchildren.
Matt Uebersetzig
COO
Matt Uebersetzig serves as our chief operating officer, overseeing the entire workforce and helping our team members to become better craftsmen and leaders. After work, Matt spends his time fishing, boating and playing basketball with his kids.
Brian Statz
Vice President, QBC
Brian Statz is a vice president of QBC, our skilled labor force. A 25-year veteran of the construction industry, he’s constantly inspired by the visual nature of our work. Brian maintains a one-acre garden on his farm and frequently heads to Canada for fishing.
Kurt Wagner
Operations Manager, QBC
Kurt Wagner prides himself on being a hands-on manager, and is frequently found on job sites working alongside our team. Kurt grew up on a farm, which he credits for his work ethic and his ability to find a solution, no matter what the challenge.

SymTek opened its doors in 2013 as a single-source provider of high-quality and affordable building materials from around the world. Since then, the company has grown to serve clients throughout the Midwest, including architects, building owners, developers, design teams, general contractors, interior designers and more.
Madison Custom Flooring
Madison Custom Flooring was created in 2016 to offer comprehensive flooring services to customers in Madison and the surrounding area. The company’s vision is to grow into a regional leader that serves commercial, hospitality and multifamily developments for both new construction and renovation.
